From the Doctor
I believe in respectful, evidence-based, collaborative care. At least half of all health conditions have a preventable component, but only a small number of people see their health professional for preventive services. I am particularly interested in the preventive potential for diagnosing and treating people for vitamin D deficiency.
I was born and raised in Jacksonville, and come from a very close and loving family of five. My father is a retired family physician, and I enjoyed having a partnership with him for 16 years before he retired.
My wife and I have two dogs who are Frisbee Dog athletes. My wife competes with them and performs in shows with "Disconnected K-9s." We also have two cats, two salt water aquariums and we care for a colony of feral cats that have been trapped, neutered and released. I love surfing and fishing, hiking and relaxing. Disc golf is my main passion and I play professionally in tournaments throughout Florida.
