From the Doctor
After completing my pediatric residency, I was fortunate to work full-time in an academic hospital setting. I was deeply involved in pediatric critical care and pediatric emergency medicine for nearly five years. This experience allowed me to apply my medical school training to the fast-paced urgent care setting, and it also helped to enhance the quality of care I'm able to provide.
When I work with patients today, I stress the importance of preventive care. I work with parents to educate them about their children's health, and only prescribe medications when the benefits outweigh the risks. I also mentor medical students and pediatric residents. Outside of the office, I love going surf fishing with my older son and golfing with my younger son, and I'm an active member of Lakewood Presbyterian Church.

Welcome to Mandarin Pediatrics, where our physicians and staff are specially trained to care for the unique health care needs of children. We understand the concerns of today's parents and have designed our offices with separate entrances and check-in, waiting and check-out areas for well and sick children. Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners: (ARNP)
Nurse practitioners (NPs) are registered nurses with advanced degrees and training in diagnosis and treatment of illness. NPs may prescribe medications, administer physical exams and counsel patients on how to stay healthy.

Robin attended college at the University of Florida where she earned her degree as an advanced registered nurse practitioner, which allows her to practice independently. She has specialized training in emergency and intensive care. Robin resides in San Marco with her husband and two teenage children.
