From the Doctor
As a sports fan and athlete, I know what it's like to be part of a team. At Baptist Internal Medicine, this team-based approach is part of our philosophy of care. I work with our doctors and staff to help reduce risk factors for health problems and to encourage patients to exercise. I've also worked with a lot of sports teams over the years, including the Jacksonville Suns and the teams at the University of North Florida.
In addition to my work in the office, I serve as the Chief Medical Officer of HealthLetix Corporate Wellness and The HIT (High-Intensity Training) Centers of Jacksonville. I also volunteer with 2nd Mile Ministries and Reaching Haiti for Christ.
I stay fit by swimming and playing golf and tennis. Despite my busy schedule, spending time with my family is my top priority. My wife and I have five children.
