      From the Doctor

      I believe the foundation to health and happiness involves a healthy lifestyle, along with proven, accepted screening tests to identify conditions and provide early intervention. I am involved with clinical research trials and have been the principal investigator in multiple research studies involving diabetes, hypertension, osteoarthritis, weight loss, hyperlipidemia and GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease).

      I am married and my wife and I have two daughters and multiple pets. I have lived in the area since 1988 and enjoy weight training, running and bicycling on the beach.

Our office provides comprehensive preventive, treatment and testing services.         • Photograph of William Lax, PA-C William graduated from the MEDEX Northwest Physician Assistant Training Program at the University of Washington. He specializes in respiratory medicine, hypertension, urgent care, orthopedics and preventive care. Lax is a member of the health ministry at his church, where he gives lectures about health topics. He is also a former board member for Project SOS, which helps adolescents. Lax is married with four children.
