    From the Doctor

    I've lived in Jacksonville since 1978, when I started my first job as a pediatric physician at the Naval Hospital at NAS Jacksonville. The great weather and laid-back lifestyle of this area make it a great place to live and work.

    My wife and I have five kids and 10 grandkids, so, between spending time at the office and spending time with my family, I stay pretty busy.

    I make time to give back to my community by volunteering for Kairos Prison Ministry, which addresses the spiritual needs of prisoners in our area. I also enjoy playing tennis, traveling and participating in the music ministry at my church.

      • Michele received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati and her Master of Science in Nursing from Case Western Reserve University. She earned her Pediatric Nurse Practitioner certificate at the University of Florida. A licensed psychiatric clinical nurse specialist, she specializes in treating behavioral pediatric issues as well as asthma, allergies and eczema. Muskus has three grown children and volunteers with the Children's Home Society, which protects children from abuse.

      • Marianne received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Maryland. She earned her pediatric nurse practitioner certificate from the University of Maryland and her master's in public health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Davenport and her daughter started a nonprofit program that uses horses to provide occupational therapy for children with special needs.
